Hike Santa Barbara Mountain Summit

Santa Barbara Mountain is the second-highest peak in Honduras, rising to 2,744 meters (9,003 feet) above sea level. This full-day guided hike takes you through stunning cloud forest, past mossy trees draped in orchids and bromeliads, and up to the summit where you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of Lake Yojoa and the surrounding valleys.

The hike requires good physical fitness and proper footwear. This includes snacks and a packed lunch; please bring plenty of water. Early morning departure from D&D is required to complete the hike in daylight hours.
