More Information: one of the best-run national parks in the country. A well-marked loop trail through tropical rainforest; takes about 3-4 hours to complete. You’ll see views of Lake Yojoa, 2 small waterfalls, creek crossings, and many tropical trees, butterflies, and birds. No guide needed for this park due as there are large maps at various points on the trail. However, guided birding trips are on offer for those interested.
