The largest natural lake in Honduras. D&D is located only a few hundred meters from a canal leading right to it! 'Lago de Yojoa' is bordered by two national parks, Santa Barbara Mountain NP and Cerro Azul-Meámbar NP as well as the protected marshland of Los Naranjos. You'll see why we think this is the most beautiful lake in Central America!
We have numerous kayaks available for rental so that you can explore the lake shore from up close. Local rowboats are available as well for the more adventurous (read: those with really good rowboat skills).
