We can’t wait to host you at D&D Brewery, Lodge and Restaurant for Jim & Victoria’s big day. To ensure that wedding guests receive first preference for booking, the entire lodge has been blocked off online from June 15th-19th.
How to reserve a room under Jim and Victoria’s Wedding Block
Please e-mail jimandvictoria@ddbrewery.com and share with us the dates you wish to travel. Someone from our team will get back to you promptly with our best currently-available room and send further instructions on how to confirm your stay.
Local Info
Be sure to check out our guidebook at www.ddguidebook.com for loads of helpful info about things to do in our region, more on our lodge, etc.
Flying to Honduras
There are two airports close to us: Comayagua (XPL) Airport (newer, nicer, and prettier views on the drive in, 1 hour 45 minutes away) or San Pedro Sula (SAP) Airport (often cheaper prices, 1 hour 30 minutes away). Please fly into whichever airport works best for you–they are approximately equidistance to the Lodge. Both airports have direct flights from major hubs such as Houston, Miami, Atlanta, Dallas, and Orlando and are supported by most major airlines.
Arriving to D&D
Via private transport: should you require private transport, simply let us know when reserving your stay, and we’ll add this to your booking. Please also let us know if you wish to travel privately or if you’d like to try to share a pickup and split the cost; we can’t guarantee the availability of shared transport, but someone else traveling to the wedding will likely be on your flight. We will work to coordinate and will let you know the final total cost if your transport is shared.
Renting a car: driving in Honduras is for the adventurous, but it can be a great way to make stops and visit small towns or other local destinations along the way. Double-check with our team before trusting Google Maps to ensure you get the proper routing for your GPS navigation. Both airports have car rental facilities, and roads are in good shape up until the last 2 miles before the lodge; they are paved up until the last 500 meters en route to the lodge. 4-wheel drive and/or an SUV is not necessary; you can arrival in a small car without any issue.

Health and Safety
As of January 2023, proof of vaccination is still required to enter Honduras (or a negative COVID-19 test), but this will likely change before the wedding date in June.
Anti-malarial medication is not needed and is only recommended if you intend to spend time before or after the wedding in the Bay Islands (Utila or Roatan).
Is Honduras safe? This is a question you might be asking. In reply, yes, it is–and as they used to say in Colombia, the only risk you’d have here is wanting to stay. Jim and Victoria have visited Honduras several times over the years, and we all guarantee that you’ll be more worried about running out of storage on your phone from all of the photos you’ll take–nothing more.
We can’t wait to host you at D&D as we celebrate Jim and Victoria’s wedding!
